Camo Camera bag

Here is a camera bag I had made for my point and shoot Canon. I cut my son's camo jeans that had holes in the knees and used the bottom of one leg as the top of the camera bag. It even had a velcro strap to make the pant leg smaller which was perfect for securing the bag so the camera doesn't slip out. This was sewn by hand.

Pocket Wall Hanging

I made this when my son was a baby. There were so many stuffed animals just lying around and I thought it would be cute to make something to get them off the floor. Mind you it doesn't hold too many but it can be used for other things such as pencils, combs, hairclips, etc. I just cut the pockets off this shirt leaving enough at the top to fold over so that the dowel can be slipped through. Tied a ribbon to both ends and voila a pocket wall hanging.

Cunning and Crafty

One of my favourite shops on Etsy is Cunning and Crafty. She does cute little things with denim like making buttons, magnets and hairclips. Great idea! This little chick hairclip is just toooOoo cute!

Turning things old into new...

I love the idea of making new things out of old. Denim is classic, durable, easy to work with...

I'll be looking for interesting ideas and posting here whenever I find cute and ingenious ideas for denim that I have found surfing the internet and book stores.
